Science is the cornerstone of how we make sense of much of the contemporary world. Without scientific explanation for the composition of what we take for granted, we would still buy into the belief that the world is flat. But for as many answers as science can provide us, it still can’t explain everything... for instance, how sex between two females can result in pregnancy. So where science fails to cough up the answers, we must turn to fiction instead.
Enter Peter Molyneux and the fantasy world of Fable 2. For all of Fable 2’s magic and mysticism, however, a lot of the game is grounded in reality. Players can eat crap food and gain weight, teach their dog a variety of tricks, and responsibly choose to have protected or unprotected sex with men or women (depending on their particular persuasion). But amongst this reality based gameplay, hilarious illogical actions can still occur.
We were hitting up some Fable 2 goodness last night and discovered that unprotected lesbian sex can in fact lead to pregnancy. Our initial male spouse had been impaled at the Temple of Shadows and it was time for a change. On the journey back to the local town we encountered a rather luscious lesbian lady who, although a bit on the high maintenance side, was more than open to the seductive advances of our female game character. A few heroic poses, an arm pump and a chicken impersonation later and we were engaged.
After exchanging marriage vows it was time to get down to business. In order to get our lesbian lover in the mood we had to go to great lengths, including the sale of our beloved property (apparently the carpet didn’t match the curtains). But after a bit more flirting and coaxing, she was ready to consummate our union and insisting that we take her upstairs. Being the obliging types that we are, we led her to the marriage bed and tried to do the deed, but were met only with the sleep option (despite our wife’s advances).
